The sustainable management of forest resources today represents one of the most relevant challenges for environmental protection, the development of territories and the enhancement of inland areas. In this context, forest certifications play a strategic role in ensuring responsible, transparent and long-term-oriented practices.
The conference is proposed as a moment of in-depth study and comparison between experts, institutions and operators in the sector, aimed at analyzing the value of forest certifications, the opportunities they offer and the critical issues still present in the path towards truly sustainable forest management.
During the meeting, issues related to the protection of forest ecosystems, the economic enhancement of forest resources, the role of local communities and the future prospects of the sector will be addressed, with particular attention to the territorial context of Molisa.
