Project Summary
GREEN B-LEAF aims to help rural communities in the Mediterranean adapt to climate change by combining participatory budget with detailed climate data. It provides citizens and local administrations with the tools to plan and finance ecological projects, strengthening resilience and sustainability. Connecting communities across the region and promoting values such as beauty, sustainability and solidarity.
Promote adaptation to climate change and disaster risk prevention
Give rural communities in the Mediterranean region the tools to become resilient to the climate and achieve sustainable transformations through green participatory budgets, innovative tools and collaborative actions. This goal will be achieved by providing communities with hyper-local climate data to foster data-driven decision-making, enabling residents to propose and implement green projects, and creating a knowledge-sharing network to adapt climate resilience and sustainability models at scale.
