Recovery Festival: the APP Contest rewards the digital talent of young people from Molise

Innovation, creativity and vision of the future reward talent.

We are proud to announce the winners of the APP Contest promoted by GAL Molise, as part of the Recovery Festival, an activity carried out within the project "Civitacampomarano: tra identità e innovazione per guardare al futuro", funded under the PNRR - Mission 1, Component 3, Investment 2.1 "Attractiveness of villages" - Line B.

The prizes went to:

  • 🥇 1st place - Class 1H, Marconi-Pilla Technical Institute
  • 🥈 2nd place – Class 4C, I.O. Lombardo Radice-Amatuzio Pallotta
  • 🥉 3rd place – Class 2B, State High School G.M. Galanti

All participating classes were given a certificate of participation, in recognition of the commitment and creativity shown during the initiative.

Class 1H has distinguished itself by devising the concept of Rimpiatta, a digital app dedicated to food monitoring and reducing food waste, facing a concrete challenge with an innovative spirit, digital skills and sensitivity towards environmental issues.

The event was taken by Luciana Di Paolo, deputy mayor of Civitacampomarano, who brought the institutional greetings of the Municipality, and Adolfo Fabrizio Colagiovanni, director of the GAL Molise, who illustrated some of the projects underway in the area.

Nicoletta Radatta, referent of the educational activities, coordinated the work by introducing the presentations of the various classes and presiding over the award ceremony.

The app Rimpiatta was developed by Pierfrancesco Frezza, collaborator of GAL Molise, as a concrete tool to promote greater awareness on the theme of food recovery and sustainability, starting from the basic idea of the winning project and enriching it with elements taken from each of the projects presented.

Congratulations to all the participating classes for the commitment, creativity and passion shown, and to all those who contributed to the success of the initiative.

Rimpiatta is available for free on App Store and Google Play. Download it now and start reducing food waste!
