The fifth live coordination meeting of the Digital Plan project, funded by the Interreg Italy-Croatia program, took place in Fermo on March 18 and 19, 2026. The meeting brought together the project partners in a two-day work dedicated to the coordination of activities and the progress of planned actions, with GAL Molise in the role of Lead Partner.
Digital Plan aims to develop a shared and replicable model for the digitization of Civil Protection plans at the local level, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of the territories to assess and mitigate the risks related to emergencies. At the heart of the project is an integrated digital platform with IoT (Internet of Things) sensors, able to collect data in real time and guarantee timely and widespread information to citizens in case of critical events.
The Fermo meeting represented an important opportunity for discussion between Italian and Croatian partners to take stock of the progress of the project and define the next operational steps, in a path that aims to make emergency management systems more effective, interconnected and accessible.
